Programme updates
- July 2025
The medical aid programme opened with a $10,000 support grant to the National Hospital and the start of a pharmacy grants scheme that would run for the following year.
- August 2025
Food security shipments of potatoes, onions, infant milk and flour were delivered early in the month, followed by a second infant milk shipment later on. Rescue cash grants were also issued to students stranded outside Swaida.
- September 2025
The Shelter project began, distributing mattresses, bedding, cotton goods, infant nappies and hygiene materials, alongside war-wounded compensation and a winter clothing project. Medical Aid delivered medicines and supplies and opened a dental clinic, the Amputees Support project made its first war-wounded payment, the WASH project began repairing the water network in Shanira, and the first Surgery Support operation was funded; the Student Support project closed after paying out further rescue grants to stranded students, and a third infant milk shipment reached Food Security beneficiaries.
- October 2025
Shelter continued distributing mattresses, bedding and hygiene materials and began infant milk deliveries. Medical Aid started servicing general medical equipment, formed a biomedical engineering team and began supporting dialysis machines and the renal unit, while WASH continued water network repairs in Shanira and began further water repairs and project supervision; a second Surgery Support operation was funded.
- November 2025
The Schools project began, restoring six schools and facilities named for local families, and the Crisis Community Service Expansion Program started, distributing medical kits to field teams. Medical Aid continued its dental clinic, equipment servicing, biomedical engineering and dialysis support, and a further Surgery Support operation was funded.
- December 2025
A fourth infant milk shipment began for Food Security, and Shelter started providing firewood and heating support. Medical Aid began a CT scanner repair, Schools restored further sites including one in Shahba and repaired a water network there, WASH repaired a water network in Al-Qurayya, and the Crisis Community Service Expansion Program paid its first monthly team grants.

Food Security's infant milk shipment continued and a bakery equipment grant was made to Al-Gharia village. Schools repaired a water network, made student grants and restored further sites, Medical Aid repaired a village medical centre and began supporting an oxygen generation plant, and Surgery Support funded further operations.
- February 2026
Medical Aid completed its CT scanner repair and biomedical engineering support. Schools restored further sites, WASH completed a water network repair, Surgery Support finished a run of operations and began diagnostic imaging and tests, and the Crisis Community Service Expansion Program paid team grants, began regional training sessions and supplied medicines.
- March 2026
Food Security's infant milk shipment concluded. Medical Aid repaired a teachers' syndicate laboratory and supported a medical air plant, Schools restored several more sites, Surgery Support funded a run of operations, and the Crisis Community Service Expansion Program began paying nursing staff salaries, paid further team grants and started paying social worker salaries.
- April 2026
Shelter continued a second firewood and heating shipment. Medical Aid completed its oxygen generation plant support, Schools restored further sites, Surgery Support funded another operation, and the Crisis Community Service Expansion Program supplied pharmacy consumables and paid a further team grant.
- May 2026
Medical Aid supported a CR radiography unit, Schools funded a solar power project in Al-Hammak village and restored further sites, the Amputees Support project made its final recorded war-wounded payment, Shelter carried out sanitation works and began fitting window screens, Surgery Support funded three more operations, and the Crisis Community Service Expansion Program paid team stipends and further grants.
- June 2026
Shelter completed its window screen work, WASH repaired a water network in Al-Karas and finished its project supervision work, Surgery Support funded five more operations, and the Crisis Community Service Expansion Program paid further monthly team grants.
- July 2026
Schools restored further sites and purchased interactive screens, Surgery Support funded three more operations, and the Crisis Community Service Expansion Program paid further team grants and area coordinator compensation.
- August 2026
Medical Aid purchased a UPS and batteries for its CT scanner as its pharmacy grants scheme wound down, Schools fitted window screens at a school, Surgery Support funded its final recorded operations, and the Crisis Community Service Expansion Program's regional training sessions concluded.
